On Writing

This project I started for NaNo keeps doing something kind of awkward for me, it keeps trying to write itself in first person. Which, if you mosey over to [livejournal.com profile] living_tales you'll see that I very clearly DO NOT EVER WRITE IN FIRST PERSON EVER.

It's true that when Heartcore first started (when I was seventeen) I attempted it in first person. But it ended up reading like a journal entry and that was my last foray into the terrifying world of first person.

So, dear F-list, I turn to you. What would you do? would you just go with it and hope for the best and pray that you don't get 50K words of terrible journal entry suck or would you try to convince your inner muse to stop being a fucktard and work with you on third person?
I have no idea what to title this, and I would dearly like some assist.

read this for synopsis )

I have been, terribly, calling it "Shadowland" as of now. But I would like something...better. Also, this is a very, very loose outline of the plot :x
